Addr
Addr is an eBook reader, not a place to purchase books. It’s all about importing your DRM-free ebooks and adding a social layer to take annotations and share them with your friends.

Here are the latest news about Addr:

2014. Addr - new ePub reader for iPad for those who miss Readmill

Introducing Addr, a new iPad app designed for reading ePub ebooks. This app bears resemblance to Readmill, a similar platform recently acquired and discontinued by Dropbox. Addr focuses on importing DRM-free ebooks and incorporates a social layer that enables users to make annotations and share them with friends. However, this app takes annotation functionality a step further than the traditional highlighting system. While reading a book, simply drag your finger in the margin to select a block of text and add your notes directly in the margin. This intuitive approach enhances the reading experience by displaying annotations alongside the corresponding text, eliminating the need for impractical and unattractive popovers or tapping on buttons or sentences. Additionally, Addr allows you to share these annotations with your friends, even if they do not use Addr themselves.
