2025. Kobo eReaders discontinued support of multiple OverDrive library cards

Kobo have recently limited the OverDrive integration on their e-readers - i.e. removed the ability to use multiple libraries directly. Interestingly, Kobo blames in this downgrade OverDrive and OverDrive blames Kobo. Fortunately, there are a few workarounds: 1. sign in with one library card and then sign out when you're done reading the book that you borrowed from this library. 2. use Adobe Digital Editions to download e-books from multiple libraries and use it to upload them to your Kobo device from your computer. 3. have multiple Kobo devices for multiple libraries. Of course, this is not the best option for everyone, but some people have more than one Kobo device.
