27.10.23. New 10.3″ Onyx Boox Tab Ultra C Pro Released

Onyx has introduced the Pro variant of their Tab Ultra C color-ereader, which was launched earlier this year. This upgraded version features a few enhancements and runs on the latest Android version (12 instead of 11). However, the changes seem relatively minor overall. The Pro model boasts a slightly faster processor, increased RAM (6GB instead of 4GB), and is 30 grams lighter. Nevertheless, it comes with a significantly smaller battery (4,600mAh compared to 6,300mAh), and most of the specifications and features remain unchanged. Priced at $649.99, there is also an optional Keyboard Cover with Trackpad available for $149.99. The Tab Ultra C Pro retains the same 10.3-inch color E Ink screen as its non-Pro counterpart, which can be compared to a standard black and white E Ink screen. This identical screen is also featured on the newly released Note Air3 C, which comes at a more affordable price of $499.

Running on Google Android, it grants users full access to the Google Play Store. It is priced at $449.99 and includes a complimentary case and stylus. The Onyx Boox Tab Mini C is equipped with a 7.8-inch E INK Kaleido 3 e-paper screen, which can vividly display 4096 colours. 2023. Onyx Boox Tab X - new 13-inch note-taking e-Reader

Onyx has recently launched the Boox Tab X, featuring a 13.3-inch E Ink screen. The Tab X serves as an updated version of the Max Lumi2, incorporating Onyx's new GPU acceleration feature to enhance the refresh rate of the E Ink display. According to Onyx, the touch layer has been reduced by 50% in thickness, resulting in a clearer screen. They have also added a rotation sensor and increased the battery size. While most of the specifications remain the same as the Lumi2, the Tab X is priced at $879, identical to its predecessor. Notably, the Tab X offers an increased 6GB of RAM (compared to the Tab Ultra's 4GB). However, it lacks a memory card slot present on the Tab Ultra, though it compensates with 128GB of internal storage and support for expandable storage via USB OTG.
