Blurb vs BookBaby in our news:

2016. BookBaby launched e-Book editing service

BookBaby has introduced a new editing service for self-published writers. They will copy-edit a 60,000-word eBook for under $1,200, which is 50% less than other competing premium services. Finding a skilled e-book editor can be challenging for a debut or first-time writer. Many end up searching online to find an affordable option or sometimes encounter Author Solutions, which uses aggressive upselling tactics. “Every book requires editing—that’s a well-known fact,” says BookBaby President Steven Spatz. “Now every author can access the high-quality editing they need. Our aim was to offer a cost-effective solution for self-publishing authors while upholding the quality they expect and deserve.”
