2023. Amazon limits self-published ebooks to only 3/day because of AI

Amazon's self-publishing service Kindle Direct Publishing now restricts authors from submitting more than 3 books per day due to AI-spam. Authors and publishers will be able to apply for an exception to this new rule. The new AI restriction comes a week after Amazon introduced a requirement for authors to report AI-generated book content to the company and added a new section to its rules defining “AI content” and “AI-assisted.” Every day, the number of new books allegedly written with the help of artificial intelligence is rapidly increasing. And they are unlikely to disappear anytime soon, given the popularity of numerous online courses on how to quickly write a AI-book and earn a million.
