PublishDrive
Publishing service for indie authors that connects them to 400+ retail sites and thousands of digital libraries. Convert your manuscript for free. Distribute your ebooks for no upfront cost. Get into hundreds of stores and thousands of libraries worldwide. Your book could be in the stores within days.

Draft2Digital and PublishDrive are both online platforms for ebook self-publishing. They allow authors to upload a file (manuscript), metadata and select distribution channels without signing contracts with each publisher and bookstore (at the same time the author remains the owner of the content.). Both services provide payment processing, sales reports and centralized channel management. They are suitable for authors looking to expand into the non-Amazon market.

However, Draft2Digital is more suitable for beginning authors with a small portfolio who want to minimize expenses. The service doesn't charge a fixed monthly fee, but takes 10% commission of the book's retail price. Draft2Digital offers automatic file formatting and tools that simplify ebook preparation for distribution. It also allows to create Universal Book Links, which direct readers to most suitable store or region, which is improving marketing. Readers can subscribe to book release status notifications. However, the choice of markets and stores is limited; for example, selling through Google Play is not possible.

PublishDrive is aimed at authors and publishers with a large number of titles or those planning to scale and maximize revenue with high volumes. It charges a flat monthly fee but without the commission-free. It has a wider reach: over 400 digital stores and over 240,000 libraries worldwide, including markets that are often hard to reach (China and India). PublishDrive offers more advanced marketing and analytics tools - unified dashboard, automated pricing, statistics collection, metadata optimization and various promotion tools. Authors can sell not only text e-books but also audiobooks.
