The integrated Wi-Fi module and touch control in combination with a full-fledged browser allow you to comfortably use the device to surf the Internet. The built-in Bluetooth module makes it possible to connect various external devices to the book. Poke is based on the Android operating system, which allows you to use a variety of reading programs and makes working with most text formats as convenient as possible.

2024. Onyx Boox released new Poke 5 with Carta 1300 E Ink display



Onyx Boox has released a new e-reader model - Onyx Poke 5. One of the main changes (compared to previous version 5S) is 6-inch E Ink Carta 1300 display with a higher resolution of 300 PPI. The device has 32 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 1 TB using SD cards. Power is provided by a 1500 mAh battery (that lasts up to one month of usage). However, the new Poke 5 is slightly heavier - 160 grams compared to 155 g Poke 5S. The device runs Android 11 and supports the installation of third-party applications. The price is $143.
